Our Beginnings The Asian Center for Missions was launched in 1995 to help reap the last and greatest harvest of the world: the 3.5-billion stronghold population of Asia. Later, it expanded its vision to reaching out not only Asia but also the nations in the 10/40 Window and beyond. ACM is the missionary training arm of CBN Asia and is a duly SEC registered non-stock, non-profit Philippine corporation accredited with the PCNC, (Accreditation No. 080-2004). Our Vision

Our Mission
To advance the Kingdom of Jesus Christ in partnership with churches and other missions organizations through prayer, mobilization, training and facilitating the sending of missionaries to the 10/40 Window and beyond. Our Strategies Mobilization/Fundraising Aims to raise prayer partners, mobilizers, and donors to help spread the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to unreached nations through facilitating: • Kairos Course • OFW Family Care Seminars • Sending with Care Seminars • Resource Mobilization Seminars • Global Bayanihan Partnership Development
Training Aims to provide cutting-edge missionary training that will produce missionaries who are effective witnesses of Jesus Christ in a cross-cultural setting and are able to produce national church leaders who will disciple their own people
Facilitate Sending Aims to aid the missionary through: • Ensuring his/her preparedness prior to deployment • Facilitating deployment • Providing on-time missionary care Missionary Training Program The Missionary Training Program (MTP) is a six-month training course designed to equip Christians towards effective cross-cultural ministry through subjects on world missions, spiritual development, leadership development, personal discipline in ministry, missionary life, team building, cross-cultural anthropology, effective teaching, effective resource communication, and the like.
The training is comprised of: • 4 months of FREE classroom instruction (school materials, food and transportation expenses not included) • 2 weeks partially subsidized class missions exposure trip (within the Philippines) • 2 months partially subsidized cross-cultural exposure trip to the trainee’s target UPG (Unreached People Group)
Qualifications for Admission • A clear divine call from God to be a missionary • Integrity of character • Track record of good and effective ministry for at least two years • The full support of his/ her local church and pastor • Sound theological foundation • Effective communication skills • Emotional stability • Good physical health • An ideal age range of 27 to 55 years • Should pass all screening interviews
