ACM
Partners with Church of God World Missions Philippines
Asian
Center for Missions (ACM) continues to advance the kingdom
of Jesus Christ to the unreached in the farthest corners of
the earth through adamant partnerships with churches and mission
organizations. Now doors have opened through the likeness
of Church of God World Missions Philippines, Inc. (COGWM)
and Chinese Congress on World Evangelization Christian Fellowship
(CCOWE). ACM have recently signed a Memorandum of Agreement
(MOA) with these two organizations.
Last
July 23, 2004 Ms Elsie V Reyes (VP and COO) of ACM signed
an MOA with Dr. Marcos M. Ligero (National Chairman) and Dr.
Ernesto L. Sacro (Vice-Chairman) of Church of God World Missions
Philippines, Inc. (COGWM). Since its beginning, the Church
of God has been a "movement" a moving church with
a mission of ministry to the world. It has over 620 churches,
over 53,070 members all over the Philippines, many special
ministries under their umbrella, and 6 Bible Schools. The
growth of their denomination has allowed them to send out
8 missionaries abroad. But COGWM Philippines thrives on and
accepts the call of God on their individual churches to be
great commission churches as it envisions sending and receiving
Filipino missionaries. ACM will provide missionary training
for COG ministers and conduct mission awareness to the different
churches under COGWM as per request.
Last August 24, 2004 another partnership has been forged between
ACM and Chinese Congress on World Evangelization Christian
Fellowship (CCOWE). The MOA was signed by Pastor Philip Ong
(Executive Secretary) and Pacita Ong (Administrator) of CCOWE.
This partnership will further enhance ACM's Career Mission
Program as it is designed to equip Christians towards effective
cross cultural ministry. It will help in language training
and increase the deployment of ACM trainees to the different
networks that CCOWE already has under its umbrella.
"After this I looked and there before me was a great
multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe,
people and language, standing before the throne and in front
of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding
palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud
voice: "Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the
throne, and to the Lamb." Revelations 7:9-10
