ACM Partners with Day By Day Christian Ministries

Asian Center For MissionsDay by Day Christian Ministries, headed by Pastor Ed Lapiz, and Asian Center for Missions (ACM) are now alliances in advancing the Kingdom of Jesus Christ to the unreached in the 10/40 window and beyond.

Last July 6, 2004 the VP and COO of ACM, Ms. Elsie V. Reyes, with her staff met for lunch with Pastor Gammy Alba (Senior Pastor), Allen dela Cruz (Building and Finance Administrator), Pastor Danny Ibarrora (Ministries Administrator) to sign a memorandum of agreement (MOA) between ACM and Day by Day Christian Ministries.

The Memorandum of Agreement signed binds both organizations to be partners in praying, mobilizing, training, sending, receiving, and caring for future Day by Day Missionaries to be sent to countries like Japan, Iran, Australia, Canada, Bangladesh, and more.

The partnership forged that day was truly groundbreaking. It's the first MOA ever entered into by Day by Day with any organization that will directly affect their operations. They envision this partnership to thrust them forward to the frontlines of world missions.

As Pastor Gammy Alba clearly puts it, "This partnership would mean improvement in our training and equipping of our missionaries…this will pave the way to the further expansion of Day by Day ministries to other nations…and increase the number of members that will answer to their calling as missionaries."

Day by Day is known to be the pioneer Christian Ministry in redeeming the Filipino culture and legitimizing cultural forms as a Christian expression. Since founded in the Philippines in 1985, Day by Day has been growing very strong as an organization. They are fully capable of not only sending but also receiving missionaries to different nations in the world. But despite of this they recognize their need of effective training when it comes to cross cultural missions.

ACM's Career Mission Program designed to equip Christians towards effective cross cultural ministries complements this need. Day by Day found themselves in one heart, mind, and spirit with ACM to bringing into fulfillment the destiny of the Philippines in reaching out to different unreached people groups in the world.

"From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing and forceful men lay hold of it." Matthew 11:12
