An average of 3,000 Filipinos leave our country everyday as OFWs. We believe that the Philippines will become a missionary sending nation. Because of this, ACM in partnership with churches and missions organizations joins the movement to give OFW new meaning as Outstanding Filipino Witnesses. The following seminars are designed to help OFW families here and abroad to understand God’s global agenda for their lives.

“Malayo Man, Malapit Din” Seminar-- Strengthening the Emotional Bond of OFW Families

This is designed to help OFW understand the emotional bond of their family and how it can be strengthened despite the distance. One aim of this seminar is to promote the importance of family contracts and the value of the church as spiritual family to the OFWs here and abroad. This is a 5 hour seminar that includes 2 lectures, open forum, small group discussion and video presentation.

“Ngayon lang naming naintindihan na hindi dapat emosyonal ang pagkakalayo sa Pilipinas, pwede palang pisikal lang.Malaki ang natutuhan ko dito para sa aking pamilya.” - OFW in Hongkong

“Pera at Pamilya” Seminar--Understanding Finances in the Different Stages of Life

This is designed to help OFW and non-OFW families understand the importance of financial literacy in the different stages of family life and acquaint the parents on principles of financial literacy that they can practice at home. This is a 4 hour seminar that includes 2 lectures, open forum, small group discussions and video presentation.

“Tamang-tama para sa mga pamilya lalo na sa OFW na naghahanap buhay para sa pera at pamilya.” - OFW in Hongkong

Life Skills Training Seminar

This is designed to help OFW family members recognize the importance of life skills in the different stages of life that are necessary in order to understand themselves, their family, and their environment. This seminar seeks to inform the families of their responsibilities to each other so they can relate effectively and prevent family dysfunction and to prepare them for each stage in life.

Member Care Seminar

ACM is a CATALYST, CONSULTANT, EQUIPPER, LINK’er, and PROVIDER of Deployment and Member Care know-how and services following the best practice model and bayanihan spirit. We envision the multiplication of Philippine sending churches and mission agencies/organizations that are intentional in caring for members of the Harvest workforce: career missionaries, tentmakers and OFW’s (witnesses). We equip churches in properly and effectively sending and supporting their pastors, members, career missionaries, tentmakers and OFW’s (witnesses) to the mission field by caring for them holistically from the time they receive their calling until their retirement. In line with this, develop a nationwide network of missionary care volunteers/providers to partner with the Body of Christ in caring for their members.

"Just to say thank you for all the love and care you have given as part of the member care team. I can genuinely say that I am a recipient of His great love thru all of you. Thank you because you are a part of my healing." - ENLI Mcare volunteer after attending the mCare 201 seminar

Kairos Course Training

The Kairos Course is a nine-session, interactive course on world Christian missions, designed to educate, inspire and challenge Christians for active and meaningful participation. It is ideally suited to be conducted in local churches, organizations or with special interest groups such as Christian businesspeople.

The Kairos Course utilizes a variety of adult learning styles including group discussions, short lecture introduction, devotions, video teaching and student participation in especially designed activities. Kairos looks at the four main areas of mission concern which are the Biblical, Historical, Strategic and Cultural dimensions of mission.

ACM will conduct Kairos Course to a minimum of 20 participants for free, not including materials.

10 -4-10/40 CAMPAIGN

The first number 10 stands for P10 per member missions offering for the Unreached Peoples Group of the World. 10-4 is a radio code for “transmission received” or “understood”. 10/40, according to Luis Bush, refers to those regions of the eastern hemisphere located between 10 and 40 degrees north of the equator, a general area that in 1990 was purported to have the highest level of socioeconomic challenges and least access to the Christian message and Christian resources on the planet. This program will remind each Christian of our global responsibility to share the Gospel and help us realize that our support, no matter how small, can do much to advance God’s Kingdom. The proceeds from this program will go to the training, facilitation of deployment and care of missionaries and OFWs (Outstanding Filipino Witnesses).

School Partners

This program is geared toward families being missions minded with their kids and the best venue to teach children to embrace the great commission is in their school. Through this program children are encouraged to learn the lives of missionaries through prayer and in their small way be part of missions through giving “piso-piso” everyday. They can do this together with their families and it can be a family project. Through this, our children will grow up to be world Christians participating in reaching the lost of their generation.

“Today’s young giver by God’s blessings can become tomorrow’s Christian entrepreneur and missionary.” - Peter Kairuz
